Welcome to the NNAL – National Network of Approved Locksmiths

In the UK, did you know that there is no government regulation with regards to locksmiths and who can call themselves a “locksmith?”

Who are you letting into your home?

With the lack of any form of government based regulation of the locksmithing industry, it means that you do not know the competence of any locksmith, and there is no guarantee that they have the skills to approach any job with a high level of professionalism.

The National Network of Approved Locksmiths was formed in 2003. The goal of the organisation is to provide the public and private sectors with total peace of mind & quality of workmanship when using a locksmith or security professional to solve their security issues or problems.

How can the NNAL help you?

  • Every NNAL member has been vetted to make sure they are CRB checked
  • All NNAL members are issued with a valid ID card so you know who they are
  • Every NNAL member has a high level of verifiable locksmithing skills and knowledge
  • NNAL members provide a number of different locksmith services – click here
  • Search for your local NNAL auto, domestic and safe locksmiths

It is vital that you look for an independently vetted, inspected and competent locksmith to carry out you locksmithing needs. You can find your local NNAL approved locksmith by clicking below:
