About AB Autolocks

AB Autolocks is a locksmith based in Forfar that operates as a fixed premises rather than a service-area-only business. Customers mention car-related work, including sorting out central locking on a vehicle, with one describing the job as taking around half an hour and the locksmith checking everything worked before leaving. Other reviewers mention key repairs and a general range of hardware and household locks.

Customers describe the staff as friendly, knowledgeable and professional, and several say the visit ran to time even in poor weather. One reviewer found the pricing reasonable, while another reported being charged for a visit that did not result in a fix. Mixed experiences are mentioned, including one reviewer who said a late-evening car lockout was declined.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
