Privacy and cookies policy
Last updated 3 November 2026. This policy explains what personal data nnal.co.uk collects, why, and your rights under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
The NNAL Locksmith Directory (nnal.co.uk) is run by Centraserve Ltd, a company registered in England, which is the data controller for this website. You can reach us through our contact form.
What we collect
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our web server records each request: the IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the referring page and the browser's user-agent. We use these to keep the site secure, diagnose faults and count visits. Logs are kept for about eight weeks and then deleted. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in running a secure, working website.
- The contact form. If you send us a message we receive your name, email address, message and IP address. We use them only to read and reply to your message, and keep them for up to two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to you.
- Visit counting. Each page sends a small request back to our own server recording the page viewed and the referring page. It sets no cookie and is not shared with anyone.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or analytics cookies. If spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA) is enabled on the contact form, Google may set cookies when that page loads, under Google's Privacy Policy. Amazon may set cookies once you follow a link and are on Amazon's own site.
Amazon affiliate links
Some advice pages link to products on Amazon.co.uk. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you follow one of these links Amazon knows you arrived from our site; we receive no personal information about you, only aggregated reports of sales.
Business listings
Locksmith listings contain business information (trading name, business address, phone number, website and opening hours) from Google Maps. Where a sole trader's business details could identify them, we rely on legitimate interests in helping the public find local trades, and we correct or remove a listing on request through the contact form.
Who we share data with
We don't sell personal data. The website is hosted in the United Kingdom, and traffic passes through Cloudflare's network for security and performance, which may involve processing outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
