About AD Locksmithing

AD Locksmithing is based in Gateshead and is listed as open around the clock. It is not restricted to a service area, and customers mention a range of work including lockouts, lock changes, a broken patio door lock, and adjusting a sticking door. Reviewers describe the business as quick to respond, with one customer reporting an arrival within ten minutes during a late-night lockout.

Customers consistently describe the staff member they dealt with as polite, patient and helpful. Several mention receiving a quote before any work began, and one reports that the locksmith suggested a way to complete the job themselves. Reviewers say jobs were finished promptly, usually on the same day as the call.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
