About AJ Locksmithing

AJ Locksmithing is a locksmith based in Darlington that also covers the town's surrounding area. The business works from a mobile service rather than a shop, and the page lists it as open around the clock. Customers say it handles urgent call-outs such as doors that have stopped locking or shutting, lock changes ahead of a move, fitting a smart lock, and repairing a loose door handle or broken window handle.

Customers who have used the business describe quick responses, including arrivals on the same day and one reported call-out at 1:30am. Reviewers say the locksmith explains how the new locks work, sources parts for the job, and leaves the work area tidy. Several say the service is friendly and that they would use it again.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
