About Austin Locksmiths

Austin Locksmiths is a mobile service based in Brighton. Customers mention lockouts, lock replacements and fitting new locks, and say the locksmith arrived quickly, sometimes within half an hour or less than an hour of being called. Reviewers describe the work as efficient and say the prices were reasonable.

Customers also report that the locksmith explained the lock options available and was willing to fit a lock he had not installed before. One reviewer said he changed a front door handle and lock so it could be opened from the inside without a key, and another said he adjusted an unevenly hung door so it opened more smoothly.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
