About Auto Lock Devon

Auto Lock Devon is a mobile locksmith based in Exeter. Customers mention car key work, including replacement remote fobs and keys for Volkswagen and Ford vehicles, and one reports a fix carried out by phone without a visit. The service is described as mobile rather than a shop, and the business is not open around the clock.

Reviewers describe the enquiry process as friendly and clear, with a written quote that set out the cost and an appointment offered within about a week. Visits at a workplace and at home are both mentioned, with one job taking around 45 minutes. Customers generally report the work as completed well and on time.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
