About Brodley Locksmiths

Brodley Locksmiths is a locksmith based in Clacton-on-Sea that covers its local area on a call-out basis rather than only from a shop. Customers in the reviews mention lockouts, smart lock fitting, lock repairs, and cutting new keys, with some reporting that a lock they were told could not be repaired was fixed instead.

Reviewers describe quick arrivals, often within an hour of calling, and say the engineer explained the work and stayed to check that new locks operated properly. Several customers also describe the prices as reasonable.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
