About Cap Security

Cap Security is a locksmith based in Thatcham. Customers mention a range of work, including lockouts after losing a key, the repair of a bifold door, and the freeing of a stuck door that the business worked on over a couple of hours. Reviewers describe the team as calm, friendly and willing to keep working through a difficult job.

Customers say the business responds quickly, with one reporting an after-hours lockout attended promptly and another describing a non-urgent job attended the same day. Several reviewers mention that the work was explained clearly and that the team kept going when a repair proved awkward, such as adjusting a door that had shifted with the house settling.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
