About Car Key Doc

Car Key Doc is a Nottingham-based car key and locksmith service that operates around the clock. Customers mention a range of vehicle work, including replacement key fobs, cutting and programming new keys, and getting back into a car after a lockout. Reviewers commonly describe same-day or prompt attendance, with one customer noting the work was completed in under an hour.

Reviews are mixed on communication. Several customers praise the engineers as friendly and polite and say the price and arrival time were clearly given. One customer, however, reports that calls were not returned after a breakdown and went elsewhere for help.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
