About Central Shoe Repairs

Central Shoe Repairs is a shop in Nottingham that offers shoe and boot repairs, including heel and sole work, along with key cutting and belt alterations. Customers mention that the shop has repaired footwear that other places had turned down, and that some jobs were ready on the same day.

Reviews are mixed. Some customers praise the service, the advice given and the prices, and describe a long-standing relationship with the shop. Others report dissatisfaction with a belt alteration and a repair to a boot that was carried out differently from what they expected, and one customer found the shop had closed before a key copy could be collected.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
