About Colin Thompson & Sons Locksmiths

Colin Thompson & Sons Locksmiths is a family-run business in Shepton Mallet that operates as a mobile service rather than from a shop. Customers mention lockouts, broken keys, vehicle ignition problems and a front door repair, with several describing prompt arrival times, clear explanations of the work and a fair price. One customer reported that the work was done for far less than an earlier quote they had received elsewhere.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
