About DG Keys NI

DG Keys NI is a locksmith based in Ballymena that operates as a shop rather than a service limited to a set area. Customers mention a range of car key work, including replacing keys and fixing a key that had snapped in an ignition, as well as the handling of a stuck lock on an older vehicle. Reviewers describe the work as quick, with one customer saying they were attended within about half an hour of calling.

Several customers say the proprietor, Dale, was helpful and willing to keep working on a difficult problem until it was resolved. Reviewers also describe the prices as fair and say he gave clear advice, including on where to source a replacement part when a repair was not possible on the spot.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
