About Donaldson Locksmiths

Donaldson Locksmiths is a mobile locksmith based in Weymouth, covering the surrounding area rather than operating from a shop. Customers mention a range of work, including freeing a stuck lock, opening a garage after a power cut, removing a caravan wheel lock, oiling gate latches, and fitting a lock system for an elderly relative. One customer reported a visit within about 20 minutes, and others describe the arrival as prompt.

Reviewers describe the engineer as friendly and patient, saying he explained the work as he went. One customer felt the charge for a short job was high, while others described the cost as reasonable.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
