About Dorset Locksmiths

Dorset Locksmiths is based in Dorchester and works as a shop rather than a mobile-only service. Customers mention lockouts, lock barrel replacements and key cutting, and several describe quick attendance and a fair charge for a simple job. Reviews are mixed, with one customer reporting a lockout at night that was not completed on the day, and another describing a long wait and an unfinished job on a door repair.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
