About Ed Jones Mobile Locksmith

Ed Jones Mobile Locksmith is a mobile service based in Bargoed, covering a wider area rather than working from a fixed shop. Customers mention car key jobs, including reprogramming a key after a lost set and recovering keys locked inside a vehicle, as well as a case where a child had locked a car with keys inside.

Reviewers describe the service as prompt, with arrivals within the hour and access gained in minutes. Customers say the work was explained clearly and the technician was friendly and patient, and one notes that a more involved key programming job was completed through problem solving. A few mention that the price compared favourably with other quotes they had received.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
