About Firmstone

Firmstone is a shop-based locksmith in Warwick. Customers mention precise key cutting, repairs to older locks, and work on exterior and interior doors. One customer reported a lost-key copy made from the original blank, and another described a repair to a door that now closes and locks more smoothly.

Reviewers describe the owner as methodical and friendly, and say he explains the problem before carrying out the work. Several mention that he sourced hard-to-find parts, including a period key and an identical lock, rather than recommending full replacement.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
