About Gibb Locksmiths

Gibb Locksmiths is a locksmith based in Sutton Coldfield. It is not a 24-hour service, and the listing does not describe it as covering a wider service area only. Customers mention anti-snap lock fitting after a break-in, same-day or next-day attendance, and key cutting, including one case where the owner opened the shop outside normal arrangements to cut keys urgently.

Reviewers describe the staff as friendly, prompt and efficient, and one customer returned for a second repair on a lock that had been fitted months earlier. Customers also say that the work was explained and the attendance was quick, with one describing the team as very quick to come out.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
