About Gills Locksmith Shop

Gills Locksmith Shop is based in Chipping Norton and is a shop rather than a mobile-only service. Customers mention a range of work, including fixing broken locks, replacing a door handle, key cutting that fits the first time, and attending to a lock-out in a car. One customer reports that the owner attended quickly to a vehicle lock-out with no damage to the car.

Reviewers describe quick replies to enquiries, clear advice on security and lock options, and work finished to a good standard within an agreed time. Several say they have used the business for years, and one notes that having a shop to visit is convenient for smaller jobs.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.

The NNAL Locksmith Directory is independent and not connected with Gills Locksmith Shop. Details come from Google Maps and were last checked November 2026. Is this business closed, or is the listing wrong? Tell us; business owners can ask for changes or removal the same way.
