About GM Locksmiths

GM Locksmiths is a locksmith based in Glasgow that operates around the clock. Customers mention a range of work, including lock replacements, patio door multi-point lock repairs, car ignition and steering lock repairs, replacement car key blades, and help after being locked out of a vehicle in the city centre. Several reviewers describe quick attendance, with one customer saying the locksmith came out the same day as a lockout.

Reviews are mixed. Most describe prompt visits, fair prices and good workmanship, while one customer reports that a lock replacement was left incomplete and that the bar part of the job was not fitted on the day. Reviewers report that the locksmith returned the next day to supply missing parts, and that the work on their vehicle was carried out in poor weather.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
