About Helmkay Locksmiths

Helmkay Locksmiths is listed as a locksmith in Mansfield. It is not a service-area-only business, and it does not operate around the clock. Customers in the reviews mention a range of work, including fitting an ignition switch in a car, repairing a jammed patio door lock and sorting out an EV charger after keys were lost.

Reviewers describe arrivals as prompt, with the work completed quickly and the problem explained clearly. Several mention that the engineer gave advice on preventing the fault from recurring, and one mentions extra maintenance on a door he had noticed was stiff. Customers also describe the pricing as fair.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
