About Home Secure Locksmiths

Home Secure Locksmiths is a locksmith based in Edinburgh that provides mobile call-out work rather than a shop-front service. Customers mention lockouts, lock changes and repairs to front doors, including a case where a broken drill bit was found inside a lock and a new secure lock was fitted. Reviews describe a quick response after a call, with one customer reporting same-day attendance.

Reviewers describe the work as professional and polite, and mention that the locksmith explained what needed to be ordered when a full set of locks was being replaced over several days. One customer said the work was fairly priced, though no fees are stated here.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
