About Horace Smith Locksmiths

Horace Smith Locksmiths is a locksmith in Woking that has moved from the town centre to units in Horsell, and it does not offer a mobile-only service. Customers mention key cutting, including keys for car roof bars where no spare key exists, along with servicing older locks and advice on home and business security. One customer describes a long-standing relationship with the business, reporting consistently good service over more than ten years.

Reviewers describe the staff as patient and willing to explain the problem, sometimes offering practical tips rather than pushing a replacement. Some note that work was done without charge for a short task. Customers also describe the locksmith as careful when matching a key to a lock, taking time to find the correct blank.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
