About James Knox and Sons Ltd
James Knox and Sons Ltd is a hardware shop in Newry. It is a shop rather than a mobile service, and it is not open around the clock. Customers mention buying household goods, furniture and key cutting, and one reviewer praised a visit where a key was cut on the same day.
Reviews are mixed. Some customers describe the service as friendly and the shop as well stocked, while others report slow service, being sent between counters, and an online order that did not match its listing. Customers also mention a builders' merchants yard that works alongside the shop. Customers describe these experiences in their own words, and the reviews do not show how typical they are.

Before you book
Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
