About Keys Is Us
Keys Is Us is a key duplication and shoe repair shop in Colchester, not a mobile service, and it does not operate around the clock. Customers mention key cutting, including keys supplied by the customer, car key reprogramming, and fixing a misaligned lock barrel. Shoe and boot repairs, such as zip replacement, leather mending and sole repair, feature in several reviews, as do engraving of trophies.
Reviewers describe the staff as helpful and quick, and several say the prices were reasonable. One customer, a stroke survivor, reports that the team cut and reprogrammed a car key after other places had turned them away, though this reflects one visit. Reviews in general are positive about the service and the expertise shown.

Before you book
Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
The NNAL Locksmith Directory is independent and not connected with Keys Is Us. Details come from Google Maps and were last checked November 2026. Is this business closed, or is the listing wrong? Tell us; business owners can ask for changes or removal the same way.
