About Lock Stock & Barrel

Lock Stock & Barrel is a locksmith based in Brighton that operates from a fixed location rather than only as a mobile service. Customers mention out-of-hours call-outs, including a lockout at around 2am, and lock replacement work such as swapping several door handles. One review describes a lockout caused by a tripped roller shutter electrical system, and another describes repair work on a broken window, including returning with a replacement pane.

Reviews are mixed. Several customers describe quick arrivals, friendly staff and fair pricing, while one reports that a door was damaged during a weekend lockout and that the promised follow-up visit did not take place. Customers also mention a repair where they felt the finish was untidy. The business is listed on Google as a locksmith offering lockout assistance and lock replacement.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
