About Lockfast

Lockfast is a locksmith based in Gillingham that operates out of hours, as the page shows. Customers mention a range of jobs, including a key stuck in a car ignition, a lockout where a key had been left in the lock, a lock upgrade involving a deadbolt, night catch and letter box, and a broken key removed from a bedroom door. Key cutting is also mentioned, though one customer reported that newly cut keys would not turn in their lock.

Reviewers describe fast call-outs, with one arriving within about twenty minutes, and a technician who gave advice over the phone before attending. Others say work was tidy and that the engineer stayed to check the job was finished. Reports on price and key cutting are mixed.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
