About Locks & Tools

Locks & Tools is a locksmith based in Altrincham that is open around the clock. It is a fixed base rather than a service area only. Customers describe fitting new locks and garage locks, and one mentions a quick, tidy installation with the work done correctly first time. Another reports that a lock was opened quickly without damage and that a stronger lock was fitted on the same visit.

One review is strongly negative and alleges that the quoted price rose substantially on arrival, with an unmentioned call-out charge added, and that a police report was made. This is a single account and cannot be verified from the evidence, so it is noted here rather than assessed.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.

The NNAL Locksmith Directory is independent and not connected with Locks & Tools. Details come from Google Maps and were last checked November 2026. Is this business closed, or is the listing wrong? Tell us; business owners can ask for changes or removal the same way.
