About Locksmith & Keys By John G and Co

Locksmith & Keys By John G and Co is a locksmith in Derby. It is a shop-based business rather than a mobile service. Customers mention key cutting, including car keys, and the cutting of two keys that was done while they waited. One customer had a front door mechanism repaired and replaced after the door locked itself, and another had a pewter tankard engraved.

Reviewers describe the staff as friendly and quick, and say the work was explained clearly before it was carried out. Several mention fair prices and keys that worked properly in the locks.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
