About MMD Auto Locksmiths

MMD Auto Locksmiths is a locksmith service based in Aberystwyth that covers all of Wales, as its name and customers indicate. It is a mobile service rather than a shop, and the listing shows it operating around the clock. Customers mention locked car keys, lost vehicle keys, and keys that have broken or stopped working in a car, with work including cutting and programming replacement keys.

Customers describe arrivals as quick, sometimes within 30 minutes of a call, and report that the locksmith explained the situation and kept trying different methods over long periods. One customer reports that a job could not be completed because of the vehicle's immobiliser, and that the locksmith gave them a lift to their destination afterwards.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
