About MPL Locksmith Training

MPL Locksmith Training is a training centre in Wakefield that runs locksmith courses. Customers describe a five-day course that combines theory with practical work, with a small class size that gives time for one-to-one support from tutors. Reviewers mention that the course covers starting up as a self-employed locksmith, with help from the office staff on certificates, start-up tools and admin.

Customers say the tutors made the learning practical and engaging, with real-life scenarios to show when different methods would be used. Reviewers also mention lunch being provided each day, and describe the office and tutor staff as friendly and helpful throughout the course.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
