About North West Locks & Mahon Engineering

North West Locks & Mahon Engineering is a shop in Strabane. Customers mention car key replacement, key cutting, and a range of hardware and hearth equipment. Some also describe using the shop for parcel lock boxes and storage. The business is not a 24-hour service and does not operate as a mobile service only.

Reviewers describe the staff as helpful and willing to take time to talk through options, and one customer reports being given clear guidance on a gas regulator for a barbecue. Several customers say they have been returning over a long period. Reviews are otherwise short and mostly positive about the experience at the counter.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
