About Paul Ashby Locksmiths

Paul Ashby Locksmiths is based in Llansantffraid. The business is listed as a locksmith and is not a 24-hour service. Customers mention a range of work, including lock replacements, door and window lock repairs, and advice on lock upgrades. Several describe Paul as punctual, honest about what work is needed, and willing to give advice over the phone rather than charging a call-out where a simple fix was possible.

Reviewers describe the work as tidy and thorough, with one customer noting that the door was also levelled and aligned while the lock was replaced. Others say Paul returned within a few days to finish a repair after sourcing the parts needed.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
