About Remotefobcentre Limited

Remotefobcentre Limited is a locksmith business in Leicester that specialises in car keys and key fobs, and is listed as a shop-based business rather than a mobile service. Its Google summary describes remote key repairs and replacements. The work customers mention includes repairing waterlogged fobs, fixing key fobs whose batteries drain quickly, and replacing or reprogramming keys for makes such as BMW, Kia, Mercedes and Chevrolet.

Customers commonly describe the business as one that tries to repair an existing key before recommending a replacement, and that keeps them informed during the job. Some report that remote communication, including messaging and sending photos ahead of a visit, helped them agree a price and arrange the work. Customers also mention receiving a spare key cut as part of a job.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
