About The Car Key Group

The Car Key Group is a mobile auto locksmith based in Wigan, so it attends customers at their location rather than operating from a shop front. The business is listed as open around the clock. Customers mention replacement car keys for makes including Volkswagen, Citroën and Audi, with some reporting that keys were coded to the vehicle and that the work was completed within a short time of the first contact. Reviewers often describe the service as well communicated, with the locksmith explaining the work and keeping them updated, and some mention being able to arrange a convenient appointment, including at weekends.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
