About The Key Shop

The Key Shop is a locksmith in Trowbridge that customers describe as a shop where keys are cut and supplied for a wide range of locks. Reviewers mention quick key cutting, including a job done in a few minutes while they waited, and one customer said it was cheaper than a well-known high street chain. Several describe the staff as polite, friendly and patient.

Customers also report help with car keys and vehicle locking systems, including a replacement key that worked with the central locking of a van, and a difficult key job on a Ford that another customer was still working on at the time of writing. Reviewers say the staff were willing to try jobs others had turned down, and the shop has parking nearby.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
