About The Key Shop

The Key Shop is a shop-based business in Nottingham, not a mobile service, and it is listed under key duplication. Customers mention key cutting, including keys for a double glazed door, and car key work such as repairing a key fob and sorting out keys for two different vehicles. Reviews also mention a repair for a handbag strap, so the business appears to take on some general repair work alongside keys.

Customers describe the staff as knowledgeable and pleasant, and several say the communication about the work was clear. Reports on pricing are positive, with some saying the work cost less than quotes they had received elsewhere. One customer reported a dispute about an earlier repair, which is a single account and not representative of the wider feedback.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.

The NNAL Locksmith Directory is independent and not connected with The Key Shop. Details come from Google Maps and were last checked November 2026. Is this business closed, or is the listing wrong? Tell us; business owners can ask for changes or removal the same way.
