About The Lock Father

The Lock Father is a locksmith based in Leigh-on-Sea, operating from a town-based setup. The business is listed as open around the clock. Customers mention a range of work, including replacing door handles on bifold doors, repairing front doors that would not lock properly, and fitting or repairing doors.

Customers describe prompt attendance after early morning calls, with one reporting arrival within an hour of calling. Reviews also mention the engineers explaining the work and offering practical advice on caring for doors. One customer complained that a call-out fee was charged after a lockout they had resolved themselves, so the pricing experience is mixed.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
