About The Locksmith

The Locksmith is a locksmith in Bristol that operates from a 24-hour schedule. Customers report using the business for lockouts, lock fitting, and getting into car and security doors. Reviews describe fast arrivals, a clear explanation of the fix, and testing the work before leaving. Several accounts mention the price matching the figure given on the phone.

Other reviews raise concerns about pricing, including claims that quoted figures were not kept to and that a call-out charge was unclear. These are individual accounts and the evidence on pricing is mixed, so prospective customers may wish to confirm the cost before the work begins.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
