About The Window Doctor

The Window Doctor is a window and door repair business based in Redcar. It is a mobile service rather than a shop, and it does not cover a wider service area beyond the town. Customers mention repairing fogged double-glazed units, sorting out uPVC doors that are hard to lock or draughty, and adjusting sliding doors and door hinges.

Reviewers describe the team as friendly and knowledgeable, and they note that visits were kept to the arranged time, with a phone call beforehand in one case. Several customers say the price was fair. One customer said a door adjustment was not fully resolved and left unhappy with the outcome, so reports on the results of jobs vary.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.

The NNAL Locksmith Directory is independent and not connected with The Window Doctor. Details come from Google Maps and were last checked November 2026. Is this business closed, or is the listing wrong? Tell us; business owners can ask for changes or removal the same way.
