About Thomas & Nelson

Thomas & Nelson is a locksmith based in Liverpool that is listed as a shop rather than a mobile-only service. Customers mention lock repairs and replacements, including a uPVC door lock and a front door lock, with at least one customer describing the technician attending their home near Newsham Park and another in the Edge Hill area. Reviewers describe the service as prompt and tidy, with work completed in a single visit.

Several customers also describe the shop as well stocked, with parts available on the day or obtainable when not in stock, and they praise the staff for their helpful manner. One reviewer notes a long-running relationship with the business over several visits, while others report a single positive experience. Reports are consistently favourable, though they come from a small number of customers.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
