About UnlockersGroup

UnlockersGroup is an automotive locksmith based in Leicester, operating a service that covers the area and is not limited to a fixed shop. The business is listed as open around the clock. Its Google description refers to car unlocking and key programming.

Customer reviews are mixed. Several people describe a prompt arrival and a helpful, polite engineer who kept them informed and offered options for a car ignition barrel repair and an unlock where the boot battery was inaccessible. Other reviews report a serious dispute over a single job, including a fee, a key that did not work, and a car battery that failed, and these accounts are not corroborated by other sources.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
