About Chant Lock & Security Service
Chant Lock & Security Service is a locksmith based in Newport. Customers mention lock changes after moving house, including front and back doors, and a repair where a stiff bolt mechanism was cleaned and made to work again. The service appears to be provided on site rather than from a shop counter.
Reviewers describe the engineers as prompt, polite and tidy, and say they explained the work and how to obtain extra keys. Customers also mention that the office kept them informed about arrival times. Several reviewers say they used the company again after an earlier property.

Before you book
Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
