About The lock shop

The lock shop is a locksmith in Newport. Customers mention key cutting, including a replacement key for a classic car and a new key for a van, with one customer noting a key that needed adjusting before it worked. A visitor also describes the staff helping with a car that had broken down with a key fault, and reviews describe the work as fast and reasonably priced.

Reviews repeatedly describe the staff as knowledgeable and helpful, and customers report that the team finds a solution to the problems they bring in. The business is a shop rather than a mobile service, and its listing does not show a wider service area.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
