About City Locksmiths Gwent

City Locksmiths Gwent is a locksmith based in Newport. Customers mention lock cylinder replacements and repairs to uPVC doors, and describe the work as carried out after a booking a few days ahead or, in urgent cases, a visit within a couple of hours. Reviewers note that the locksmith explained the work before starting and that the area was left tidy afterwards.

Customers consistently describe the service as friendly, professional and efficient, with quick responses and no surprises over cost. Several reviews single out one engineer for solving the problem promptly, including one who attended on a day off. The business is recorded as covering a single town rather than a wider mobile area.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
