About Cobbler Cope

Cobbler Cope is a shoe repair shop in Newquay. Its Google listing describes it as a repair shop specialising in Birkenstock resoling and key cutting. Customers mention resoling Birkenstock footwear, with one reporting a turnaround of about a week for a postal repair. Several reviews also mention key cutting, including a coded car key and a replacement key for a holiday property.

Reviewers describe the owner as honest about prices and candid about whether a repair is possible before any work begins. Customers say he is happy to advise on key types over the phone or in person. The shop is not a mobile service and is not described as serving a wider area.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
