About DES Locksmiths

DES Locksmiths is based in Canvey Island and is a shop-based business rather than a mobile service covering a wide area. Customers mention lockouts, the fitting of new locks including for uPVC doors, and replacement door keys. Several describe staff as helpful, prompt and professional, with one reporting that a technician gave advice on looking after a new lock.

Reviews are mixed. One customer reported that replacement keys did not work on the first visit and that more than one trip to the shop was needed to resolve the problem, while others were positive about the service they received.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.

The NNAL Locksmith Directory is independent and not connected with DES Locksmiths. Details come from Google Maps and were last checked November 2026. Is this business closed, or is the listing wrong? Tell us; business owners can ask for changes or removal the same way.
