About EKC Locksmiths

EKC Locksmiths is based in Macclesfield and operates as a single-site business rather than a service-area-only firm. Reviewers mention lock repairs, a front door gearbox fix, lockout assistance and lock replacement, and the service is described by customers as prompt, with one reporting a visit within about fifteen minutes of calling. The business is also listed as open around the clock.

Customers describe the work as neat and carried out to a good standard, and several mention that the staff member explained the job clearly and kept the process straightforward. Pricing is described as fair by more than one reviewer, including for a weekend callout. Several reviews also refer to a new build property where a door was not fitting properly, which the business was reported to have resolved on the same day.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
