About Glaslock

Glaslock is a locksmith based in Glasgow. It is a mobile service rather than a shop, and customers describe it as covering the city and surrounding area. Reviews mention lock changes, lock upgrades and fitting a smart lock, as well as a lockout on a flat door and a repair to a tenant's front door lock.

Customers describe the owner as friendly and polite, and say he explained the work clearly. Reports mention a quick arrival, with one customer saying he came within 30 minutes and finished in about ten minutes. Other customers mention that a smart lock installation took longer than they expected. Customers also say the work included adjusting a door, replacing door handles and fitting a new letterbox.

Before you book

Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
