About Kipper's Keys
Kipper's Keys is a locksmith based in Clacton-on-Sea that offers a service covering the local area rather than a shop-only counter. Customers mention car key work in particular, including programming replacement keys and fobs for vehicles such as Peugeots and a Jeep. One reviewer reported a home visit to program a key for a family car, while another described having keys cut and new fobs supplied in one visit.
Reviews describe the service as quick, professional and reasonably priced, with customers saying the work functioned correctly on the day. One customer said a key was supplied and programmed in around 50 minutes. However, another reviewer described a lengthy and unresolved fault with a Jeep, and reported being charged for a second key they had expected free of charge.

Before you book
Ask for the total price, including the call-out, before the locksmith sets off, and ask whether they will try to open a locked door without drilling it. If the price changes a lot once they arrive, you can say no. Our guide to choosing a locksmith covers the warning signs.
